Chandigarh: BJP national general secretary Tarun Chugh today took strong exception to the Punjab AAP government move to appoint an advisory body for Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann saying that after the chief minister has failed miserably to deliver the Delhi-based AAP leaders are planning to take over the state administration unconstitutionally.
Chugh said the chief minister has been proved to be incapable of driving the state administration and now the steering would be taken over surreptitiously by Kejriwal and his henchmen.
He said it was a moment of shame for Punjab that the chief minister needed an advisory body to guide him and he did not even had faith in his cabinet colleagues for advice.
Punjab under the AAP government was setting dangerous precedents in governance and it was fraught with more constitutional aberrations than anything else.
He said as it is, it is well known that all ministers and secretaries are reporting to an MP from outside the state and the chief minister was simply behaving like a rubber stamp.
