Panchkula: The Road Safety Organization (RSO), in collaboration with Panchkula Traffic Police, launched an awareness drive to mark Road Safety Week, under which an awareness campaign regarding over-speeding vehicles was organised to make people aware of road safety rules and over. ACP Ms Mamta Sodha and RSO President Ankur Kapoor led the campaign, which was supported by Indus Hospitals Mohali
RSO President Ankur Kapoor said, “Every year thousands of people become victims of road accidents due to overspeeding. Due to disobedience to the traffic rules, many people die on the roads. To prevent road accidents, it is necessary to strictly follow the rules.”
RSO has been promoting safe driving regularly. Today Road Safety Organisation in coordination with the Panchkula traffic police organised another awareness camp. RSO and Traffic police officials shared the rules and regulations with the public.
Present on the occasion were RSO chairman Deep Krishna Chauhan, Secretary Navdeep Bedi, Joint Secretary Mukesh Chauhan, Tarun Pal Singh, Mohit, and Karan Bagla among others.
