National Legislators’ Conference (NLC) is being jointly organised by the legislative bodies, non-governmental institutions and civil society with active support of the MIT School of Government, Pune in Mumbai from June 16 to 18 next year. Around 4,000 legislators representing various political parties from across the country are expected to attend it.

 Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann led Punjab government has created a golden history by giving a platform to the sportspersons of villages and cities to showcase their talent under the Khedan Wattan Punjab Dain-2022. Punjab Sports Minister Gurmeet Singh Meet Hayer has congratulated Indian Hockey team vice-captain Harmanpreet Singh for being selected as the best hockey player in the world for the year 2021-22 by the International Hockey Federation (FIH). Indian hockey team defender and ace drag flicker Harmanpreet Singh have been chosen FIH Player of the Year for the second consecutive year.

Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal said that the government is continuously taking stringent steps to tighten the noose around illegal miners as a result of which during our tenure a revenue amount of Rs. 4660 crores has been earned from mining and this figure is estimated to be increased by Rs. 4800 crores by the end of this year. 

 In order to restore the pristine glory of Punjab and resuscitate the sports culture in State, the Sports Department has chalked out an elaborate sporting extravaganza ‘Punjab Khed Mela’. The ‘Khed Mela’ would be kickstarted by the Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Major Dhyan Chand on August 29 (National Sports Day) at Jalandhar. The sports festival would begin with a gala opening ceremony.
