Agency: Chandigarh, July 3: In a solemn ceremony held at Punjab Raj Bhawan, Sanjeev Arora was sworn in as a Cabinet Minister of Punjab on Thursday. The oath of office and secrecy was administered by Punjab Governor and UT Chandigarh Administrator Gulab Chand Kataria, in the presence of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann. A spokesperson from the Chief Minister’s Office informed that Chief Secretary KAP Sinha conducted the proceedings of the ceremony with the Governor’s permission. Following the oath, Sanjeev Arora signed the official document, which was countersigned by the Governor. The event witnessed the presence of several dignitaries, including Cabinet Ministers Harpal Cheema, Harjot Bains, Dr. Balbir Singh, Dr. Baljit Kaur, Hardeep Singh Mundian, Mohinder Bhagat, Dr. Ravjot Singh, Barinder Goyal, Laljit Singh Bhullar, Lal Chand Kataruchak, and Gurmeet Singh Khudian. The ceremony was also attended by MLAs, senior officials from the civil and police administration, party leaders, and family members of the newly appointed minister. Chief Minister Mann congratulated Sanjeev Arora and extended his best wishes for his new role in the state cabinet.
